New videos uploaded

August 19, 2011
As promised in an earlier post I have uploaded two new videos to the Cape Town, SA page of my video portfolio.

The videos are representative of work that produced with The Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation Emavundleni Clinic's ADAPT study and The University of Cape Town's Child Health Unit.

Working with project leaders at the ADAPT study in Emavundleni I produced a video that addressed participants concerns regarding their regular clinical visits and processes used in the study. The study aims to find new ways to measure ARV drugs in the bodies of participants. An English version of the video can be viewed here

With the University of Cape Town Child Health Unit I worked along side Dr. Mark Richards to produce 6 videos addressing a recognized gap between text book teaching in the classroom and clinic practise taught to first year medical students in South Africa. These videos are currently allowing the students to experience a clinic environment without simply having to read about it in textbooks.

I enjoyed both of these projects immensely and look forward to working on similar ones in the future.
